Together Recycling

Privacy Policy

How Together Recycling collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and pickup services.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Information We Collect

Information you provide, such as your email address when you request updates and the contact, address, item, and scheduling details you submit through our pickup experience.

Technical and usage information, such as browser and device information, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from an IP address, and advertising or analytics identifiers.

Communications you send to us, including support questions and requests concerning a pickup or recycling container.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to requests, arrange and communicate about pickups, determine service availability, operate and improve the website, prevent misuse, measure marketing performance, and send updates you requested.

We may combine information from the website and pickup workflow when reasonably necessary to provide support and understand service performance.

How We Disclose Information

We may provide information to service providers that support website hosting, communications, pickup scheduling, analytics, advertising, security, and business operations. The pickup experience may be provided through Together Recycling service platforms, including GiveToGo and LogixRoute.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising activity may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on applicable law and where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to limit or object to certain processing or advertising-related uses. These rights are not absolute and may differ by jurisdiction.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected] and describe the request and the information or service involved. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity or your authority to act for another person, including by asking for information that can be matched to our records.

We may deny or limit a request when permitted or required by applicable law, including when we cannot reasonably verify the requester, must retain information, or an exception applies. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal or request reconsideration, you may reply to our response or contact us again using the same email address.

If Together Recycling sends optional updates, you may ask us to stop by contacting [email protected] or by using any opt-out method included in the message.

Data Retention and Security

Retention periods depend on the type of record and why it is needed. Pickup and request records may be kept while we fulfill, support, document, or resolve the service; communications may be kept while we address the request and maintain appropriate business records; and website or security logs may be kept while reasonably needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

We also consider the sensitivity of the information, the service lifecycle, security and fraud-prevention needs, contractual or provider constraints, legal obligations, and the need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, de-identify, or aggregate it, subject to lawful retention requirements and ordinary backup cycles.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Children

The website and pickup service are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice appropriate to the significance of the change where reasonably required by applicable law, which may include a notice on the website or direct notice when appropriate and available. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
